A Freedom of Information (FOI) request has revealed that the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) does not record several standard data points related to its supplier contracts and withholds some financial details from public view.

The request, dated 26 November 2024, asked for the regulator's complete contract register and its procurement strategy. The response provides a partial look into the UKGC's spending but highlights limitations in its data management and transparency.

The partial disclosure and lack of a formal strategy limit the ability of the public and industry observers to conduct a full analysis of the UKGC's operational spending.
